ACTOR, TEACHER and THEATRE DIRECTOR. He graduated in Performing Arts in 2014 in University of Bologna in Faculty of Humanities, specialising in Commedia dell'Arte. He also graduated in the School of Drama "Teatro Azione" in Rome directed by Cristiano Censi e Isabella Del Bianco (2007). He specialized in the Commedia dell'Arte with teacher Antonio Fava (since 2009). He founded the international company "I Compà" where he works as an artistic director. He has been collaborating with the cultural Association Caracò as an actor and teacher.
He studied Clown and Buffon with Antón Valén (clown in Cirque du Soleil) and Storytelling with Giancarlo Fares. He studied with Norman Taylor, Claudia Contin, Ferruccio Merisi, Miriam Villalobos e Belén Gordillo. He performed together with Antonio Fava (company ArscomicA) in several productions, from 2010 to 2014. Since 2011 he has been collaborating with "Porvoo Theater" (Finland), as a teacher of Commedia dell'Arte, as a director in the shows "Sunnuntai Saapuu and Mahtava Markkanen" and as an actor in the show "Mustalaisleiri Muuttaa Taivaaseen". He collaborated with "Theater ntS'" of Naples and "Forum Universale delle Culture Napoli e Campania" in the project "Living Naples": an international workshop of Commedia dell'Arte. He's taught in different workshops of Commedia dell'Arte in Italy, Finland and Spain.
ACTOR and TEACHER. José Gabriel has studied at the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático of Murcia, Spain (BA in Acting, 2008-12). He specializes in Commedia dell'Arte with his 'maestro' Antonio Fava (since 2009), working as his assistant and as an actor in his company (ArscomicA). Nowadays he works in the tv series 'El secreto de Puente Viejo' (shown in Spain, Italy, Chile, USA, etc.)
He has taught Expressive Technique at Scuola Internazionale dell'Attore Comico of Antonio Fava (Italy) since 2010. He's also trained in clown and improvisation by Antón Valén (Clown Cirque du Soleil), Vladimir Olshansky and Carles Castillo, and in physical theater with Gemma Galiana and Matej Matejka (Teatr Zar) , among others. He studied also with Norman Taylor, Claudia Contin, Andrés del Bosque, José Carlos Plaza, etc. He has also worked in TV for Boomerang TV, Atresmedia (eg. 'El secreto de Puente Viejo). In Theatre, he's worked in ArscomicA, Distrito Teatro, El Hechizo Teatro, I Compà, Pupaclown, La Murga. He holds a BA in Translation and Interpreting (2005). He speaks Spanish, Catalan, English, Italian and German. He has run several Commedia dell'Arte workshops in Italy (Reggio Emilia), Belgium (Colletif AuQuai in Brussels), Germany (Kreativhaus e.V., Berlin), Spain (Universidad d’Alacant, Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Murcia & Extremadura, Escuela Municipal de Teatro de Cartagena, Unión de Actores Murcia, etc.), Brazil (Porto Iracema das Artes in Fortaleza), etc.
